About Us
Medical Networks LLC is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. We were founded in 2007 by Mark G. Janczewski, MD, MPH, FAMIA, FAAFP, who has over 35 years experience in clinical medicine and health information systems, as well as prior experience as a mathematician, software programmer, systems analyst and military communications officer. We have particular in-depth expertise working within the Military Health System (MHS) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), but have also worked with academic and commercial health care organizations. Our company was established to address the following critical challenges facing the health care industry:
Assisting the functional (user and business) healthcare community in articulating WHAT they want their information systems to do for them;
Working to integrate or increase interoperability of disparate medical information systems (e.g. electronic health record, imaging, pharmacy, lab, billing);
Participating as a key member in international Standards Development Organizations, such as Health Level Seven (www.hl7.org);
Acting as an informed “bridge” between the clinical user community and developers of Health IT systems;
Providing senior management/C-suite level Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Health IT program Strategic Planning, relationships with industry, government/military; academia, financial analysis, and change management.
